Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Credentialing Specialist to join our team.

As a Credentialing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that healthcare providers meet the necessary qualifications and standards to practice within our organization.

Your role will involve verifying credentials, conducting background checks, and maintaining accurate records.

Duties:


  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of provider information
  • Conduct primary source verification of education, training, licensure, and certifications
  • Perform background checks on providers to ensure compliance with organizational standards
  • Maintain uptodate provider files and databases
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely completion of credentialing processes
  • Communicate with providers regarding missing or incomplete information
  • Assist in resolving any credentialing issues or discrepancies
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in credentialing standards

Skills:


  • Strong knowledge of medical office procedures and managed care practices
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare industry standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Proficient in using credentialing software or databases
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Pay:
$ $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
