We are currently looking for a
Civil Engineer / Project Manager (m/f/d) with a focus on Structural Engineering
Full-time, permanent
for our Department of Traffic Planning and Road Construction, Green Spaces, Surveying in the Traffic Infrastructure Division.

The Traffic Infrastructure Division is responsible for the provision, maintenance and operation of currently 267 engineering structures and around 500 km of roads and paths in the Ulm area. The topographical location, existing waterways and railway infrastructure result in an above-average number of bridges in the city. The maintenance and preservation of the traffic infrastructure and the management of upcoming major projects in structural engineering are key tasks for the city in the coming years.

The salary is based on pay group 12 TVöD.

Your tasks:

  • Coordination and implementation of measures related to the maintenance of around 250 bridges, tunnels, retaining structures and noise barriers, as well as the construction and renovation of engineering structures in the Ulm area
  • Bridge inspections according to DIN 1076 and performing the role of construction supervisor
  • Preparation and implementation of procurement procedures for planning services in the sub-threshold range
