  • Fluor Business Incubation champions this platform, fostering a strategic focus on climatetech, carbontech and sustainable industrial solutions. We provide nimble, unstructured access to our global network of crossindustry experts for highimpact engagement.
  • An operations coordinator is needed to handle day to day operations as well as longer term planning and execution of activities led by or supported by Business Incubation. This involves close coordination of the Business Incubation team with internal stakeholders / key resources, including business line leadership, office management and functional group leadership across global operations. Extensive coordination with external parties is also vital to this role, including but not limited to startups, established technology innovators / licensors, corporates / strategics, venture capitals, corporate ventures capitals (CVCs), private equity, banks, accelerators / incubators, nonprofits, philanthropic funds, sovereign wealth funds, national labs, conference organizers, publishers, equipment OEMs, contractors / consultants / fabricators / engineering firms / other EPCs, etc
  • Responsibilities may include:
  • Set up meetings and activities, virtual and in-person; ensure key participant availability and efficiency
  • Set up and / or support conference and other event sponsorship and / or event participation and / or speaking opportunities
  • Use and administer Pitchbook and other research sources for Business Incubation team and stakeholders
  • Use and maintain Business Incubation CRM and reporting tools (Power Point, Excel, Word, etc )
  • Use Fluor Connect To Win (Salesforce) enterprise level CRM tool to research internal activities and progress with past, current, and future business line opportunities to support evaluation of Business Incubation opportunities and strategic considerations
  • Produce and update presentations and narrative documents
  • Support production or editing grant and endorsement letters for startups or corporate applicants
  • Support social media, communications and PR initiatives, working closely with Fluor Communications, Marketing, Business Lines and Legal, as needed
  • Support adhoc administrative and other support needs, as needed
  • Support or lead development of community newsletter proposal for internal consideration (this is not absolute. Just a possible objective for later consideration, perhaps 6+ months out)
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Background checks are carried out as part of any conditional offer made, including (but not limited to & role dependant) education, professional registration, employment, references, passport verifications and Global Watchlist screening.
  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

Basic Job Requirements

  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and six (6) months of related experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendo
