- Drives compliance strategy and operations
- Develops and maintains compliance policies and procedures
- Builds an effective compliance management system to track legislative and regulatory developments that affect various lines of business
- Prepares reports and presentations for Executive management regarding compliance program activities
- Assists the lines of business in developing internal controls to mitigate identified compliance risks
- Identifies, communicates, and develops compliance education and awareness programs and assist with the delivery or development of compliance training
- Bachelor's degree and six (6) six years of experience in a financial role
- Two (2) years in a compliance leadership role
- Ability to communicate ideas (written and verbally) both clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly with little supervision or instruction, but also a team player.
- Attention to detail, prioritization skills, responsiveness and ability to meet tight deadlines are essential.
- Strong skills with Microsoft office suite
- This position will serve as a Compliance Manager within Regions Corporate Banking Group, in support of the Capital Markets team, which includes Regions Real Estate Capital Markets operations.
- Our ideal candidate will have a broad-based knowledge of, and proven experience, applicable to a Corporate Bank/Capital Markets function.
- Experience with providing business oversight and compliance consultation with Government Sponsored Enterprise (GSE) Organizations, such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
