    Proudly recruiting for North America's leading acrylic bathtub, shower enclosure and tub-to-shower conversion company. Products are manufactured in state-of-the-art facilities in the U.S. and Canada. They oversee and operate around 200 retail locations across North America.     The Area Development Leader reports to the Director of Corporate Sales and Operations and leads a team of 5 Branch Leaders and 100 installers and salespeople. Branches are based across 5 geographies: Sacramento, CA, Fresno, CA, Newark, CA, Phoenix, AZ, and Albuquerque, NM. The ADL will travel 75% of the time to regularly visit all locations and will ideally be based in Sacramento, Fresno, or Phoenix.

    Job Summary

    Responsible for guiding appointed Branch Leaders (BL) and Business Coaches (BC) in improving their performance by helping them to remove obstacles that inhibit professional growth in order to attain and sustain peak performance for the employees and business. They will coach their BLs business progress and create and institute strategies to accomplish the goals of Bath Fitter. Every ADL is responsible for the profitable growth of the branches in their regions.

    Essential Functions:

    Sales Growth & Profitability

    Review overall budget performance and provide guidance and resources to further develop an action plan to attain their budgetary responsibilities.

    Coach & assist the Business Coach/Branch Leader to drive all objectives and operational standards consistently for each of their locations through daily, weekly, and monthly discussions focused on the Key Performance Indicators of the business. This includes Touch Base forms, action plans, review of Profit and Loss (P&L) as well as GAP analysis

    Discuss key numbers: Closing %, Install budget, Lead to Estimate, P&L.

    Review the budget and determine what is needed to improve the budget.

    Review action plans and strategies to achieve the goals of the branch.

    Performance Support and Coaching

    Identifies learning and development needs of their assigned BusinessCoach/BranchLeader.

    Readily available to the Business Coaches/Branch Leaders.

    Participates in the evolution and deployment of company Best Practices ensuring they are shared through a network of clear and open communication throughout their given area.

    Develop, implement, and sustain the understanding and execution of the fundamentals of the company business model, managers playbook and BranchLeaderSystem(BLS).

    Align their assigned branches with the company's Mission, Vision, and Values.

    Implement a Performance Culture that centers around development, accountability, and recognition.

    Conduct one on ones with Business Coaches/Branch Leaders to gain further insight into what is needed to propel the branch to a higher level of performance.

    Hiring & Staff Development

    Adheres to all company Human Resources strategies and best practices;

    Participates in interviews as needed for interviews within their region.

    Assists in interviews for BL roles for other regions for the company.

    Calls Weekly:

    Weekly one-on-one to discuss: BAR / Install Budget / Sales Budget. Discuss the previous week and where/what their focus will be on moving forward

    Discuss the following: staffing, obstacles, corporate service level and any other areas that need improvement

    Monthly:

    All Branch Leaders and Business Coaches on call

    Share best practices, current level of performance, staffing, and engagement.

    Corporate level of service

    Ask Branch Leaders/Business Coaches to send information/agenda prior to the calls.

    Additional Requirements

    Monitor overall cleanliness and look of the company's management system

    Determine with the Branch Leader if subject matter expertise is needed.

    Ability to work in a changing environment and able to be a change agent.

    Excellent team player with the ability to build strong relationships; excellent ability to inspire, motivate, and develop skills within people.

    Successfully demonstrate managerial and leadership skills, including coaching and influencing skills.

    Additional Requirements

    Effectively using computer workstations, various software, and video conferencing (i.e. Zoom, Teams, Skype).

    Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

    Abide by all company policies and procedures.

    Attend and participate in regular branch and/or regional meetings and training sessions.

    Able to speak clearly and persuasively; write clearly and be able to read and interpret written information.

    Ability to work collaboratively within the team for a common goal.

    Able to demonstrate accuracy and completion; monitors own work to ensure quality. Look for opportunities to improve and promote quality.

    Prioritize work activities, use time efficiently.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in a home remodeling or installation services business.

    A degree in business or related field is preferred.

    Experience in project management, leadership, budgets, profit and loss, employee supervision, customer service, and conflict resolution required.

    Valid drivers license and maintain a clean driving record.

    Ability to obtain a US Passport.

    Weekly Travel Required; typically traveling 3 weeks per month.

    Compensation: The company offers a generous base salary (that varies per home base location), company bonus, paid company health premiums and other health benefits, 401K, and 3 weeks PTO.
