Job Overview

The Retail Development Manager (RDM), Express Stores position works with leadership at 3rd party or Dealer stores in an assigned market and is responsible for influencing and driving those' Dealer stores' sales results, while providing guidance, instruction, and feedback to the Dealers to ensure the T-Mobile brand and customer experience is represented by the Dealers in a way consistent with our standards.

This includes assessing the operation of the Dealers' stores to ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

A successful RDM will utilize performance data for dealers to identify and influence Dealers, while also establishing and maintaining relationships with Dealer employees that will permit the RDM to influence the Dealer's performance.

The RDM reports to the Sr Manager, Express Stores.


Responsibilities:


  • Analyzing and leveraging performance reports to understand, discuss, and influence sales performance against established targets and KPIs.
  • Observing and assessing store operations, staffing protocols, and customer interactions and then providing feedback to address opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensuring that Dealer complies with merchandising and collateral requirements and all representations of the T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile brand so that they are in compliance with T-Mobile Dealer standards; if not in standard, devises action plan to address noncompliance and and improve compliance going forward.
  • Strategize with internal T-Mobile partners such as Account Managers and Ops Managers, as well as the Sr Manager, Express Stores on opportunities that can be addressed at broader levels with Dealer owners (Principals) and HQ teams.
  • Monitor competitive distribution, product and promotions, and advertising in the marketplace in order to provide input into the strategic planning process for this channel.

Education:


  • High School Diploma/GED (required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Work Experience:


  • 47 years Related sales experience including indirect/direct/retail/third party selling arrangements. (required)
  • 24 years Experience of successfully managing direct reports. (required)

California Pay Range :
