    Description

    Perforce develops DevOps tools that improve software quality and security as well as team productivity for several of the world's leading companies, such as PIXAR, CD Projekt Red, NASA, Verizon, Honda, and NVIDIA.

    Perforce is searching for a Director of Product Marketing to join our team and support our GTM efforts in Media & Gaming.

    The Director of Product Marketing will be focused on our Digital Creation suite, which includes Helix Core, the industry-standard version control for game developers.

    The ideal applicant will have experience working in, or a strong knowledge or passion for gaming & media.

    As Director of Product Marketing, you would be instrumental in supporting product launches and go-to-market efforts, including product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement with the objective of creating demand and continued customer affinity for our products.

    The Director of Product Marketing will be responsible for thought leadership and evangelism to raise the profile of the company, increase awareness for your brands, and gather market intelligence.

    The ability to dive in and learn about our products, the problems they help solve, and the markets where we sell is critical to being successful in this role.

    Develop value propositions & messaging that differentiate our products and support the creation of effective Marketing campaigns and Sales collateral.

    Create sales training materials and tools that align with the buying process and help move prospects and customers forward through the sales funnel.

    In partnership with the Product Team, manage and plan product launches with clear objectives and defined metrics for success.

    Interact with customers frequently in the form of interviews, surveys, product feedback, case studies, win/loss analysis, sales calls, industry event & user group networking, etc.

    Help evangelize Perforce and turn customers into references and champions.
    Data-driven and results-oriented. Experience in customer-facing roles, e.g. product marketing, technical marketing, pre-sales, professional services, training or technical support.
    ~ Experience with public presentations and/or authorship of white papers, blogs, articles, etc.
    ~ Energetic, enthusiastic, with a highly flexible attitude.
    ~ Ability to develop content and messaging for various audiences (technical, decision-maker, executive, analyst, etc.).
    ~ Highly organized individual, able to multitask and manage demanding projects and deadlines.
    ~7+ years experience in enterprise software product marketing or similar.
