- Provide 24x7x365 Network Operations Center support under the Global Network Operation Support Center (GNOSC) management.
- Manage and maintain the MDA Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) network infrastructure.
- Handle COMSEC management, operations, and maintenance tasks.
- Act as a liaison for COMSEC management with different entities at the MDA.
- Support the deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance of TACLANES and encryption devices.
- Perform network engineering and administration tasks as required.
- Offer initial troubleshooting on network monitoring issues and provide end user support.
- Produce status reports, network anomaly analysis, and engineering red lines.
- Respond to incidents, work orders, and change requests.
- Collaborate with customers to resolve communication issues.
- Assist with Test/Event support as needed.
- Utilize various monitoring platforms to detect and resolve network performance issues.
- Execute system surveillance and support Cybersecurity measures.
- Act as an SME on network service delivery of assigned capabilities.
- Collaborate with relevant entities to resolve network issues.
- Perform cable troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and provide training.
- Must meet education and experience combinations specified.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Hold a current DoD 8570 Level II Certification.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Hold a Cisco CCNA Certification.
- Have experience with various networking and cybersecurity technologies.
- Familiarity with IT Services Configuration Management processes.
- Experience with monitoring tools and ITIL framework.
- Knowledge of COMSEC/TACLANE, network protocols, and WAN technologies.
