- Support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract as a Linux Integrator.
- Integrate specialized mission unique software (MUS) on Linux and Windows-based virtual machines for the Missile Defense Space Center.
- Identify system requirements, assist in design and testing, and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for configuration issues.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to deliver innovative integration services to the Government customer.
- Contribute to technical planning and provide management and guidance.
- Perform system patching, monitoring, backup, and testing to ensure optimal system operations.
- Facilitate communication between software developers and end users.
- Engage in scripting and software modifications to enhance functionality.
- A passion for process improvement and system design.
- The ability to tackle complex software issues efficiently.
- Strong documentation skills and adherence to standard processes.
- Initiative in risk identification and problem-solving.
- Flexibility to support mission events with short notice.

- Educational requirements paired with IT experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of IT experience.
- Prior experience with Missile Defense Agency or space-related projects.
- Current involvement in supporting the IRES contract.
- Hold a valid DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher.
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or above.
- Proficiency in administering a Red Hat Linux environment.
- Experience in Linux command line operations.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Podman, Gitlab, and Ansible.
- Skills in programming languages like C, Python, C shell scripting, and Bash.
- Hold a Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator Certification.
- Experience with Ansible playbooks and log analysis.
- Familiarity with VMware environments and DoD networking.
- TS/SCI clearance preferred.
