    Description
    Systems Engineer

    Must be Citizen or permanent resident of the United States


    PSI has a diverse team of electrical and embedded engineers who design, build, and test power distribution and control systems for our state-of-the art Imaging and Communication systems.

    We are searching for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the team and contribute to the development of our next generation RF-photonic devices and millimeter wave antenna systems.


    A successful candidate will:

    • Design new analog and digital control circuits that interface between MCUs/FPGAs and RFPhotonic components.
    • Design complete power distribution from 110VAC to low voltage DC, and everything in between.
    • Draw schematics and lay out PCBs following industry standard design guidelines.
    • Work with PCB Fabrication and Assembly houses to manufacture new designs.
    • Work with Mechanical Engineers to integrate designs into mechanical models.
    • Assemble & rework PCBs and other circuits as needed.
    • Assemble and integrate cable assemblies with systems.
    • Be ready to work in a fast-paced environment and form creative solutions to unique problems.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
    • 5+ years of industry experience designing circuits & PCBs
    • Ability to work in-person at an office in Newark, DE.
    • Experience with digital communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet)
    • Experience using general electrical lab equipment (multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc.)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience using Altium Designer
    • IPC CID certification is a plus
    • Experience writing firmware for embedded devices (STM32, Arduino, etc.)

    Job Type:
    Full-time (no remote work)

    Pay:
    $70K - $140K, depending on experience and degree level
