    Quality Control Inspector

    Location: Boston, MA
    Salary : $54,000 - $62,440 depending on experience

    Job Overview

    As a Quality Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and compliance of materials, products, and processes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Inspection and Documentation: Conduct inspections and accurately document findings.
    • Approval Authority: Withhold approval for non-conforming items, release approved materials, and issue Certificates of Compliance.
    • Inventory Management: Manage and document the inventory in the Quality Assurance (Q.A.) Hold area monthly.

    Position Requirements

    • High School diploma or equivalent; a 2-year degree or 2 years of inspection experience preferred.
    • Proficiency in using inspection tools and able to measure on the comparator also use calipers, micrometers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) a plus
    • Ability to read and interpret product drawings and specifications.
    • Basic computer skills, including MS Office (Excel and Access).

    Duties

    • Adhere to all documented procedures and instructions.
    • Perform detailed inspections of materials, products, and processes.
    • Document inspection results accurately in both digital and physical formats.
    • Notify the Quality Assurance Manager of any discrepancies or missing specifications.
    • Maintain accurate logs for receiving, non-conforming materials, and inspections.
