    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.

    We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a dynamic long-term care pharmacy located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are passionate about making a significant impact in the lives of patients while enjoying the beauty and warmth of South Florida.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accurately prepare and package medications for dispensing, ensuring correct labeling and secure packaging.
    • Assist pharmacists in the verification of prescriptions, including the proper dosage, quantity, and appropriateness of the ordered medications.
    • Manage medication inventory, restocking medications and supplies, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
    • Process medication orders efficiently, adhering to workflow and deadlines.
    • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients to clarify prescription details and patient information.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to long-term care facilities, responding promptly to queries or requests.
    • Comply with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and state pharmacy regulations.

    Shift:

    • Monday - Friday:2:00pm - 11:00pm
    • Rotating every other weekend.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Pharmacy technician experience.
    • FLpharmacy technician license.
