For our client in mechanical engineering, we are looking for a new colleague for the position of:

Machine Operator - m | w | d

The main tasks in this position:

  • Reviewing order documents/production/inspection schedules, checking routers
  • Managing order papers including confirmation of work steps
  • Unpacking and inspecting customer components according to specifications
  • Conducting visual inspections of all parts to be produced before and after the work process according to defined inspection scope. In case of quality issues, inform the equipment manager/supervisor
  • Operating and setting up vibratory finishing machines (according to router specifications)
  • Measuring and documenting coating thickness according to inspection scope
  • Blocking defective parts and immediately informing supervisors and coworkers
  • Identifying errors in processed products in collaboration with equipment managers and conducting analysis
  • Performing maintenance and repairs on vibratory finishing machines according to maintenance schedule in collaboration with maintenance departments and documenting them
  • Resolving minor malfunctions

Important requirements for the position:

  • Completed training as a skilled worker in the metalworking field
  • Interest in participating in the development of innovative special processes
  • Quality awareness and a structured, independent, and goaloriented work style
  • Communication and teamwork skills, motivation, and resilience
  • Willingness to work in shifts (morning, afternoon, and night shifts)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
