    Chief Financial Officer – Provision Concepts

    The Chief Financial Officer's role will be similar to a treasurer or controller. They will be responsible for ensuring that the company's financial reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner. They will also manage the company's financial initiatives, including accounting, cash flow, and strategic direction.

    Their duties will include but not be limited to:

    Financial planning:
    Tracking cash flow, analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses, and proposing corrective actions. They will work closely with the Corporate Team on analyzing Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets

    Forecasting:
    Creating forecasts predicting future growth and needs. Helping prepare Tax Planning for the company and its affiliates

    Strategy:
    Deciding where to invest company funds, shaping portfolio strategies, and advising on areas like product development, market expansion, and human capital management

    Communication:
    Communicating with investors, boards, and key stakeholders

    Human resources:
    Determining accountabilities, communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures, and planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions
    Overseeing the capital structure and financing options
    Preparing current financial reports and summaries
    Helping manage issues such as ensuring sufficient cash flow to sustain growth, enhancing working capital, freeing up money tied up in inventory, and determining where to concentrate sales efforts
    Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders
    Reviewing all formal finance, HR and IT related procedures
    Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
    Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and coordinate with externals auditors in the event of an audit
    Communicate with CEO, COO, and department heads to ensure financial activity is aligned with overall business strategies and budgets
    Present in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making by the executive team
    Provide actionable insights on financial performance indicators
    Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement
    Facilitate training programs to ensure staff members stay current with accounting principles and industry best practices
    Conduct structured performance reviews for all accounting team members
    Identify and assess financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate potential adverse impacts
    Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and industry trends to proactively address emerging challenges
    Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
    Address payroll related inquiries and discrepancies
    Ensure adherence to HR policies across the company
    Field store level HR concerns and maintain a level of discernment on when it may become necessary to pass off an HR complaint to a 3rd Party
    Provide financial information, reports, and respond to inquiries to maintain positive investor relations
    Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for the entire franchisor organization, reflecting the overall financial health and performance
    Provide guidance to franchisees on financial reporting requirements
    Oversee the accounting for franchisee fees, guiding franchisees on the accounting treatment of fees, including how to record and report them in their financial statements
    Manage accounting processes related to royalties, ensuring accurate and transparent revenue reporting
    Facilitate audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards, legal requirements, and financial regulations
    Develop training programs to educate franchisees on financial best practices, accounting procedures, and compliance practices
    Oversee or Review and Approve Restaurant 365 DSS's – Daily
    Oversee or Review, Approve, and Pay Restaurant 365 Invoices – Daily
    Oversee or Process and Post Payroll - Corporate & Stores – Bi-Weekly
    401(k) Updates and Plan Maintenance- Bi-Weekly
    Oversee or Review Bank Activity ensuring Matching Data – Weekly
    Review or Oversee Reconciliation of All Bank Account Ending Balances – Period
    Oversee or Review Food & Bar Inventory Adjusting Entries – Period
    Oversee or Review Loan Activity Reconciliation & Adjusting Entries – Period
    All Other Closing Journal Entries – Period
    Investor Comp Use Calculation & Journal Entry – Period
    Gift Card Liability ‐ Calculation, Transfers, Adjusting Entry – Period
