- The Stroke Neurologist will ideally be boardcertified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology
- Responsible along with other members of the stroke team (physicians, strokecoordinator and stroke nurse) for the oversight of the active clinical, educational and research aspects of the stroke program in the hospital
- Work closely with 4 stroke neurologists
- Join a team of 36 physicians, 2 PhDs, and 19APCs
- Significant subspecialty volume right from the start
- 1:8 general neurology call
- No stroke or trauma call for outpatient neurologists
- Neurology residents from affiliated university take the first call
- Teaching and research opportunities
- Faculty appointment available
- A 370bed tertiary care facility
- Level I Trauma Center
- Comprehensive Stroke Center
