    GLOBAL BANKING & MARKETS FICC AND EQUITIES

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
    The Global Banking & Markets Operating Risk team oversees Operational Risk across various sectors like Sales, Trading, Banking, Engineering, and Operations. They focus on Supervision, Conduct, Control Remediation, Technology and Operational Risk, as well as Operational Resiliency within the Global Banking & Markets Division.
    The Sales & Trading Controls team addresses immediate risk management priorities related to Sales and Trading in Global Banking & Markets. They work on innovative solutions within the realm of supervisory risk space, catering to both traditional and electronic trading lines of business.
    The team collaborates closely with Sales & Trading Supervisors, Franchise Managers, Change Management, Controls Engineering, and Designers to ensure efficient solutions for the Global Banking & Markets Division.
    Global Banking & Markets: Sales & Trading Controls Specialist
    As a Sales & Trading Controls Specialist, you play a vital role in supporting the supervisory framework for Sales, Trading, and Strats supervisors within Global Banking & Markets. Your responsibilities include enhancing governance for Electronic Trading globally and contributing to the development of a cutting-edge supervisory platform. The team is seeking professionals in both the Controls and Architect space.
    • Develop an in-depth understanding of Supervision and Electronic Trading control frameworks
    • Design new supervisory controls and enhance existing processes for effective risk management
    • Collaborate with various teams to drive strategic initiatives and develop innovative solutions
    • Oversee projects optimizing tools for FICC and Equities businesses
    • Create key metrics to measure effectiveness of control frameworks
    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
    • Understanding of risks and controls in Trading and Sales
    • Knowledge of revenue generative functions
    • Proficiency in software-driven risks
    • Ability to run queries and conduct detailed data analysis
    • Experience in project management and stakeholder relationships
    • Operational risk knowledge and familiarity with operational risk frameworks
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Proven experience in process redesign and strategic implementation
    • Prioritization skills and ability to balance competing demands
    • Interest in global financial regulatory environment and automated trading regulations
