Description
Advertising Sales Executive – Human Resources ExecutiveETC, part of the Arc network, is a rapidly growing B2B events, data, and media platform. ETC is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Advertising Sales Executive to join the HR Portfolio team. This individual will be responsible for building client relationships with Human Resources Executive media clients and strategic partners.
The Advertising Sales Executive will contribute to corporate and portfolio goals by successfully managing a book of existing business while cultivating new relationships and closing new clients to drive revenue growth.
This role requires excellent communication and organization skills and a passion for delivering products that deliver exceptional customer value.The ideal candidate will have a professional background in print and digital media sales, particularly in cold prospecting and relationship building.
We need people who thrive in an evolving media and digital landscape and approach their role with initiative and enthusiasm.
This is a remote role, and work from a home-based office is permitted up to 5-days a week.Prospecting and Relationship Building
As an individual contributor, drive sales initiatives to meet and exceed established revenue targets and account renewals.
Regularly communicate with key contacts by phone and email to understand their business needs and objectives, tailoring offerings accordingly.
Reporting and Data ManagementMaintain accurate and detailed records of all client interactions and sales activities using
Prepare sales reports detailing sales volume, pacing, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion to Associate Publisher on a regular basis.
Analyze and review all ad units to maintain rate integrity and increase revenue.Strategy, Communication, and Collaboration
Collaborate with the Associate Publisher, content team, and marketing team to understand future media plans and objectives.
Stay abreast of market developments and identify new growth opportunities for sales within the industry.
Represent the company at various industry events and conferences to promote our offerings and expand our network.
5+ years of proven experience in digital media/advertising sales, with a focus on consultative sales, enterprise sales, cold prospecting and relationship building.
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field of study is preferred but not required.Interest in the latest media advertising methodologies and solutions
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to deliver persuasive sales presentations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Experience using Salesforce is preferred but not required.
Willingness to travel to industry tradeshows, conferences, and networking events.
Performing work in an indoor office environment. Remote work is permitted.
Operating standard office equipment such as computers, printers, keyboards, monitors, phones, and other telecommunications or internet-enabled communications devices
Possessing short-distance visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and/or extensive reading.
10% travel, as required.This is a regular, full-time position. Work is typically conducted Monday – Friday, during ETC's core business hours, between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM.
