    Job Description Summary:


    This position ensures delivery of quality registration services via effective use of material and human resources for the facility's registration services.

    He/She interacts with internal/external customers as a resource for information and problem-solving. The Site Director of Patient Access provides direction and supervision to manager(s) and staff. He/She prepares, submits, and administers an annual departmental operational budget to establish financial goals and guidelines.

    As a key leader with the PAS team, they are responsible for leading PAS projects, analysis of point of service and service excellence programs, and conducting compliance audits to ensure our processes meet all regulatory guidelines.

    They will be directly responsible for coordinating all Non-reporting PAS areas to ensure they are following all PAS policies and procedures.


    Minimum Qualifications:


    Bachelor's Degree (Required)Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or related field from four-year college or university; or five years related Experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of .

    Communication and interpersonal skills; PC knowledge and Patient Access HIS; demonstrated skills in employee training and development. Problem solving and analytical skills. Understanding of Revenue Cycle process. Sound track record of Financial Counseling expertise and self-pay management. History of innovative program design and process improvements. 5 -7 yrs as a Registration Director at a 5 00+ bed hospital. 7-10 yrs Experiencedirectly relating to Hospital Admitting. Proven track record of improving Patient and Employee Satisfaction.
