JOB Description
This position is responsible for problem-solving court data collection within the Office of Problem-Solving Courts.
Responsibilities include overseeing the Problem-Solving Court Profile Database to include collaborating with the vendor and/or the Office of Information Technology on enhancements and general maintenance, collecting and compiling problem-solving court data and information including leading semi-annual data collection using the Problem-Solving Court Profile Database and responding to internal and external data and information requests.
Other duties include providing support to other problem-solving court projects and tasks within the office as needed, providing support to implement and administer the Problem-Solving Court Certification Program, and maintaining the Office of Problem-Solving Courts website.
The position works independently, reporting major activities through periodic meetings with the assigned court operations consultant.Examples of Work Performed
Oversee the Problem-Solving Court Profile Database to include collaborating with the vendor and/or the Office of Information Technology on enhancements and general maintenance.
Collect and compile problem-solving court data and information, including leading semi-annual data collection using the Problem-Solving Court Profile Database and responding to internal and external data and information requests.
Provide support to implement and administer the Problem-Solving Court Certification Program.
Maintain the Office of Problem-Solving Courts website.
MINIMUM Education and Experience Guidelines
Education:
Refers to job specific training and education that is recommended for entry into the position.
Additional relevant experience may substitute for the recommended educational level
on a year-for-year basis.
Bachelor's degree in statistics, social sciences, or a closely related field.
Experience:
Refers to the amount of related work experience that is recommended for entry into the position that would result in reasonable expectation that the person can perform the required tasks.
Additional relevant education may substitute for the recommended experience on a year-for-year basis, excluding supervisory experience.Three years of related work experience.
Competencies/Knowledge, Skills, and abilities
Knowledge of the Florida State Court System and problem-solving courts.
Knowledge of and the ability to apply modern research techniques to project planning.
Ability to guide complex analysis.
Proficiency in data collection methods and data analysis.
Ability to organize, maintain, and update a variety of detailed and complex records.
Skillset to act as a project leader.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
