    Description

    Location:
    Highway 165, Hollywood, South Carolina, , United States1st Shift (Four 10 hour shifts + OT on Fridays and Saturdays)

    Wage:
    $27-$30 per hour, based on experience

    Job Description:    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team.

    As a Welder, youwill be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures andequipment including aircraft carriers, submarines, ships, and so on through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent technicalskills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.


    Responsibilities:

    -Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine jobrequirements-Perform welding tasks using various techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, ARC, FLUX)
    • Operate welding equipment safely and effectively Inspect welds for accuracy and quality Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work area and equipment Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
    • Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques.
    • Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
    • Relies on instructions and pre established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
    • Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

    Requirements:


    • Proven experience as a Welder or similar role Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent hand eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic math skills Certification or training in welding is a plusIf you are a skilled Welder looking for an opportunity to showcase your talentsand grow with a dynamic company, we encourage you to apply.
