- Designing tip shroud dampers and mid span dampers as appropriate
- Familiarity with ANSYS Workbench tools

A Power Solutions Client of Insight Global is looking to hire a Gas Turbine Airfoil Design Engineer to their team in Sedalia, MO, Kansas City, MO, or Houston, TX.
The Gas Turbine Airfoil Design Engineer researches, plans, and re-engineers mechanical and electromechanical products and systems, and directs and coordinates activities involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical or electromechanical products and systems.
They will be responsible for Re-Engineering Gas Turbines to then manufacture and re-brand for new Engines.Additionally, they will design gas turbine airfoils for aeroderivative turbines - blades and vanes (or nozzles) for both turbine and compressor parts.
