    Job Description

    Thread in Aggieville is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a creative and fast-paced environment, assisting with various aspects of the production process to ensure the timely and high-quality completion of custom apparel orders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Setting up Screen Print Jobs: Assist in the preparation and setup of screen printing jobs, including selecting screens, mixing inks, and preparing the printing area for production.

    Tearing Down and Cleaning: Responsible for the teardown and cleaning of screen printing equipment and work areas after each job to maintain cleanliness and efficiency.

    DTG Production: Operate Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing equipment to produce custom garments according to customer specifications, ensuring accurate color matching and print quality.

    Embroidery Machine Operation: Proficiently operate embroidery machines to embroider designs onto garments, following design specifications and quality standards.

    Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, order customization, and providing recommendations on design and product options.

    Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet our standards of excellence, addressing any issues promptly and efficiently.

    Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory levels of materials and supplies needed for production, notifying management when replenishment is required.

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in a similar role within the apparel industry. Experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate

    Familiarity with screen printing processes and equipment setup is highly desirable.

    Proficiency in operating DTG printing equipment and embroidery machines.

    Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and quality control.

    Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

    Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

    Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed.

    Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $ $12.00/hour.
