- Responsible for preparation of deferred revenue, journal entries, accounts reconciliations and flux analysis.
- Review new customer contracts to determine proper accounting under ASC 606 and track existing contracts to ensure accurate and timely execution of accounting.
- Perform reconciliations of account receivables, contractual incentives, and deferred revenue
- Assist in the preparation of the company's monthly and quarterly reporting requirements around revenue under ASC 606, along with the accumulation of support for the company's annual audit.
- Assist in implementation, maintenance, and adherence to accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP, within an internal control framework.
- Analyze financial data, ad-hoc reporting and special projects as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting coupled with 3+ years related experience.
- Knowledge of GAAP Accounting, particularly in relation to current revenue recognition guidelines.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Strong initiative, willingness to take ownership and drive projects to completion, excellent organizational and communication skills, detail-orientated, team player, and intellectual curiosity.
- Active CPA designation.
- Experience working in a SOX environment.
- Previous experience in the technology industry.
- Prior experience in a high-growth public company.
