    Compensation: $120,000-130,000
    Location: Onsite, Katy, TX

    Health, Safety, Environmental Advisor

    Inceed has partnered with a global leader in the oil and gas industry to help find a skilled Health, Safety, Environmental Advisor to join their team

    Responsibilities:
    • This individual oversees a range of safety projects and programs, including facility safety committees, training, drills, and inspections.
    • This individual will measure airborne pollutants and sample potentially hazardous materials for analysis. They identify and mitigate risk factors, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and educate employees on occupational hazards. Their role involves extensive fieldwork, scientific analysis, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a safe workplace.
    • This individual will also develop safety protocols, conduct hazard analyses, evaluate control methods, and investigate accidents.
    • Additionally, this individual will provide guidance on hazard operability studies and manage change processes related to laboratory equipment.
    Required Qualifications & Experience:
    • B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Environmental Safety, Industrial Hygiene) and/or other closely related engineering major with relevance to HSE experience and certifications. Professional experience should include development, implementation and management of corporate health, safety and environmental management systems.
    • Four years of HSE experience, preferably in the petrochemical or oil/gas industry.
    • Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately, clearly and concisely in English at a level required to perform the job as outlined. Strong communication & presentation skills (oral and written) are required.
    • Must possess good work habits, a strong work ethic, and be able to adhere to company work hours, policies, and standard business etiquette.
    Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
    • Preferred certifications:
    • Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).
    • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and/or a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) within a research and development facility with varying laboratory environments is desirable.
    • Certified Radiation Safety Officer or ability to obtain this certification (Highly desired).
    Perks & Benefits:
