  • Purpose of Job
  • Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities
  • Environmental Performance:
  • Identify, develop, and implement performance metrics and compliance improvement projects for air compliance, including emission reductions, release event reductions, non
  • conformance elimination, etc.
  • Regulatory Advisor:
  • Knowledge, maintenance, and communication of air permit requirements/conditions and applicable regulations
  • Provide guidance on air regulations/permitting requirements (PbRs, Standard Permits, and Amendments) for projects and other process/equipment changes.
  • Compliance:
  • Submission of regulatory and company required reports (Title V, Air Emissions Inventory, GHG, NSPS, TSCA, SARA, TRI, Tier 2, etc.)


  • Formal Education

  • University Bachelors Degree
  • Working Experience 5+ years relevant years in Environmental
  • 3+ years of Texas Air Compliance/Permitting experience


  • Required Personal/Professional Skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of applicable legal/regulatory environment, specifically for air compliance (Clean Air Act, NESHAPs, NSPS, GHG, TSCA, Title V, SARA, etc.)
  • Experience in coordination/oversight of service providers that provide: consultation services, stack sampling, lab testing, LDAR monitoring, etc.
  • Experience in project management
  • Knowledge of and experience with air emissions controls
  • MSS, LDAR, Flares, Scrubbers, Vapor Combustors, and Stack Monitoring/Testing
  • Experience working in management systems
  • RCMS, ISO, PSM, QMS, EMS, etc.
  • Leadership skills and ability to provide guidance to employees and consultants
  • Strong communication and organizational skills/techniques and ability to effectively interact and liaison with all levels of the organization and with local, state, and federal regulators
