Purpose of Job
Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities
Environmental Performance:
Identify, develop, and implement performance metrics and compliance improvement projects for air compliance, including emission reductions, release event reductions, non
conformance elimination, etc.
Regulatory Advisor:
Knowledge, maintenance, and communication of air permit requirements/conditions and applicable regulations
Provide guidance on air regulations/permitting requirements (PbRs, Standard Permits, and Amendments) for projects and other process/equipment changes.
Compliance:
Submission of regulatory and company required reports (Title V, Air Emissions Inventory, GHG, NSPS, TSCA, SARA, TRI, Tier 2, etc.)

Formal Education

University Bachelors Degree
Working Experience 5+ years relevant years in Environmental
3+ years of Texas Air Compliance/Permitting experience

Required Personal/Professional Skills

Comprehensive understanding of applicable legal/regulatory environment, specifically for air compliance (Clean Air Act, NESHAPs, NSPS, GHG, TSCA, Title V, SARA, etc.)
Experience in coordination/oversight of service providers that provide: consultation services, stack sampling, lab testing, LDAR monitoring, etc.
Experience in project management
Knowledge of and experience with air emissions controls
MSS, LDAR, Flares, Scrubbers, Vapor Combustors, and Stack Monitoring/Testing
Experience working in management systems
RCMS, ISO, PSM, QMS, EMS, etc.
Leadership skills and ability to provide guidance to employees and consultants
Strong communication and organizational skills/techniques and ability to effectively interact and liaison with all levels of the organization and with local, state, and federal regulators
