    Job Summary:
    Oversee all operations of the Intramural program as well as provide NCAA Compliance support.

    Job Description:

    Intramural Director Responsibilities:
    General knowledge and awareness of sports culture
    Oversee and manage all aspects of the PLNU Intramural program
    Hire, train and supervise student workers
    Submit facility requests through Astra
    Oversee athletic facilities and weight shed during open hours
    Submit work orders
    Report injuries to Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance/SWA and appropriate departments
    Manage lost and found
    Oversee open gym, leagues, and tournaments
    Monthly meetings with representatives from Athletics, Kinesiology, ASB & Student Life and Formation
    Weekly meetings with student workers
    Manage Intramural budget.
    Inventory, maintain and order equipment.
    Manage intramural website.


    Compliance Coordinator Responsibilities:
    Manage Compliance Assistant and other compliance software.
    Assist with National Letter of Intent and Athletic Scholarship Agreements
    Assist with various reports
    NCAA Academic Eligibility Reports
    NCAA Graduation Rate Report
    NCAA Sport Sponsorship Report
    NCAA Academic Success Report
    NCAA Financial Aid Report
    Missed Class Reports
    GPA Reports
    Department Surveys

    Create, distribute, and manage miss class notifications and travel letters.
    Manage department video requirements (Title IX, Risk Management, NCAA, Human Resources, etc).


    General Responsibilities:
    Compliance with all PLNU, PacWest, and NCAA rules and regulations as they relate to all job-related activities.
    Work closely with the Athletic Program Coordinator in the following areas Opening Day, Golf Tournament Fundraiser, SLAM, etc.
    General office duties
    Manage front office digital display.

    Livestream all PLNU home and away contest (when a broadcast/livestream is available)
    Update student-athlete slide show.
    Order office supplies.
    Coordinate mail pick up with Athletic Program Coordinator.
    Maintain clean office environment.
    Greet and assists guests.
    Other duties assigned as it relates to Intramurals and Athletic Department

    Qualifications
    Demonstrates general knowledge and awareness of athletics/sports culture
    Demonstrates high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
    Demonstrates knowledge of and compliance with all PacWest Conference and NCAA rules and regulations as they relate to all job-related activities
    Evidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement. In addition, staff agree to live in agreement with PLNU's Community Life Covenant.
    The job offer is contingent on a clear background check.

    Physical Requirements
    The work is primarily sedentary and may require sitting for extended periods of time.

    Use of computer equipment:
    computer keyboard, mouse, and monitor.
    Vision to read documents, email and other correspondence, and reports on paper and computer monitor.
    Ability to communicate effectively with others in person and by phone.
    Will also stand, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 10 lbs throughout the day.
