Job Description Summary:

As a Contracting & Compliance Administrator, Government you will work closely with internal business partners as the leader responsible for compliance related to federal government awards received across the enterprise.

Associates have an understanding of requirements within existing awards and are responsible for initiating activities for teams to maintain compliance while coordinating with supervisors to ensure activities are closed out efficiently and accurately.

Key responsibilities will include:


Contract compliance:
Responsible for contract compliance across all contract awards, making recommendations to leadership to reduce risk, and execution of compliance improvement initiatives

  • Project Manage compliance improvement initiatives across the Government Contracts team
  • Monitor SOX controls to ensure compliance and recommend enhancements aligned with evolving business practice
  • Regularly audit Commercial Sales Practices (CSP), including pricing analyses and "what if" scenarios to determine financial impact of business proposals
  • Manage TAA solicitation, reporting, and execution of modifications to ensure awards are origin compliant
  • Manage discontinued product/recall product reporting and execution of modifications to ensure awards are compliant
  • Maintain FAR clause library and coordinate activity to ensure contract compliance
  • Review CLM data dashboard for data integrity flags and manage corrective actions
  • Identify system solutions that reduce compliance risk while improving process
  • Recommend process improvements that align to best in class business practice for contract compliance
  • Lead audit activities to execute tasks as required to include coordination of sales reporting, completing reporting analysis, and completing questionnaires.

Data Management:


  • Process reporting needs for compliance and contractual requirements
  • Utilize available data management systems to ensure appropriate document retention in accordance with BD document retention policy in CLM
  • Coordinates Commercial Sales Practices (CSP) reporting and conducts analytics for internal/external audits and business proposals/modifications
  • Recommend reporting enhancements to improve end user experience
  • Interpret reporting output to end users operating as a trusted advisor and develop job aids to support end users

Contract Lifecycle Management:
Strong understanding and functional knowledge of the full lifecycle of contracts. Assists with contract solicitation, post award, extension, and closeout procedures. Supports contracting strategy and analysis based on business need.

  • Track and report all assigned contracts in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system
  • Develop a project plan to managing tasks and due dates with business partners, updating trackers as needed, and communicating project status to management
  • Lead communication between Government Contracting Officers and internal business units
  • Review FAR and other government clauses and verify origin compliance
  • Prepare final response package through collaboration with key business partners
  • Responsible for ongoing follow up of the submitted offer until award has been made
  • Identify, create, monitor, and update contract obligations for each contract assigned in CLM
  • Review and process any standard modifications (Product Add/Delete, Price Increase/Decrease, Customer Add/Delete, Administrative Changes), mass modifications, contract extensions, and/or contract closeout requests from customers
  • Ensure appropriate document retention in accordance with BD document retention policy in CLM
  • Collaborate with Federal Sales and Leadership on ways to support contracting growth and ensure compliance

About you:
To be successful in this role, you require
:

  • Minimum BA/BS required with 5 years of business experience, or without Bachelor degree, 10+ years extensive experience in the applicable area preferred
  • Strong contracting strategy approach with the ability to assess situation, collect data and deliver well thought out recommendations
  • Demonstrated leadership skills; ability to project manage complex Government contracts from beginning to end
  • Proven track record to quickly establish credibility, trust, and support within all levels
