- Provide leadership and daily oversight to the supportive services team to ensure successful implementation of day-to-day program operations by providing guidance related to program eligibility requirements, service delivery and documentation, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, appropriately managing caseloads, and coordinating on-call scheduling
- Conduct hiring, onboarding and training activities for new hires
- Establish and monitor caseloads and work activities to ensure service delivery, contractual outcomes, and program goals are met
- Conduct case conferencing reviews, chart audits, quarterly ride-alongs, monthly interviews with program participants
- Participate in service coordination meetings, committees, conference calls, regional trainings, CoC meetings, and leadership initiatives
- Identify, build, and maintain community relationships with landlords and services organizations that work with the target population
- Ensure that Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) data is completed and collected for all participants entering, recertifying, and exiting the program
- Collaborate with other departments and outside partners effectively ensuring team-oriented participant-centered focus as well as creating a safe and secure environment for participants, teammates, and visitors
- Coordinate and provide on-call coverage for crises and after-hours service needs
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field required
- Must have at least two years of supervisory experience
- Three years of experience with working with homeless and behavioral health populations required
- One year of providing supportive housing services preferred
- Knowledge of the local homeless population and appropriate community resources, especially entitlement and housing resources preferred
- SOAR certification and experience preferred
- Frequent local and regional travel is required; must have a valid VA driver's license and access to a personal vehicle available to perform job functions
- Leadership skills: the capacity to set and achieve goals, plan and facilitate meetings and group processes, conflict resolution, tact/diplomacy in stressful situations, integrity and cultural competence, commitment to support diversity, equity and inclusion, and ability to provide and received constructive feedback
- Program development and evaluation experience
- The ability to maintain confidentiality with all records
- Professional and administrative skills, including oral/written communication, active listening skills, quality control practices, accuracy and thoroughness
- Well-organized, with the ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and competing priorities
