Description

Under the supervision of the Director of Operations and the Director of Creative Content, Women's Basketball, this position will assist in capturing and editing a multitude of aspects of practice, game and behind the scenes video for the Women's Basketball program.

The position will work alongside the Women's Basketball Staff to produce video projects to highlight the experience and our brand" for various mediums, including social media and our website.

Position will utilize content and skill set to develop videos and other content for various constituents, internal and external to the program, department and university.

Any additional team needs in regards to recruiting, external media, fan engagement, marketing, hospitality, and summer camps/clinics will be met as assigned.

Any and all other tasks as assigned by the Women's Basketball staff. Requires attendance at some practices and all home games. Evenings and weekend hours are required, as well as occasional travel. Creative, flexible and collaborative personality a must.
Salary & Compensation

Qualifications

  • Previous video production experience is required. (required)
  • Incumbent must have proficiency in usage of After Effects, Premier Pro, Final Cut and Photo Shop. (required)
  • Must have a creative, flexible and collaborative mindset. (required)
  • Ability to work in a high paced, multifaceted business and relate to the needs of a variety of constituents including coaches, staff, as well as University colleagues and external vendors. (required)
  • Possess strong knowledge of basketball and a desire to tell the stories of the players. (required)
  • Possess interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coaching staffs and administrative staff on a variety of technical levels. (required)
  • Ability to identify, cultivate, supervise and manage student staffing requirements for the women's basketball program to achieve desired results. (required)
  • Effective listening skills to ascertain communicated problems and to assist coaches and staff, carry out department related tasks, and respond to clarify procedures. (required)
  • Willingness and ability to routinely work nonstandard hours, including evenings and weekends. (required)
  • Detailed knowledge of how to patch necessary audio/video connectors to existing equipment for duplication. (required)
  • Knowledge of and ability to comply with Department, University, Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. (required)

  • 20% Ability to travel with team as dictated by need and schedule and provide post game video and still content.
