Position Summary:
Works closely alongside Assistant Branch Managers and Branch Managers to ensure the smooth operations in Inventory, Front End, Cash Room, and Receiving Departments. Maintains a positive company image by delivering courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service. Supports the Branch Manager in upholding company standards. Can be tasked with the responsibility of holding warehouse keys. Performs physical labor as necessary.

Essential Functions:
- Maintains the accuracy of the physical inventory at the branch.
- Utilizes a scan gun and relocates merchandise as required to gather necessary information.
- Makes decisions on pricing and ensures that gross margins are kept at the prescribed level by the corporate team.
- Communicates margin issues to buyers and follows up promptly for responses.
- Reviews sales price differential reports to verify front-end pricing accuracy and makes corrections where needed.
- Ensures that cycle counts are carried out in a timely and consistent manner.
- Trains all staff for inventory purposes and oversees the planning and execution of semi-annual inventories.
- Coordinates Inventory Control with Receiving, Perishables, Dry Goods Floor, and Front End to ensure accurate inventory levels including low stock, out-of-stock, negative on-hand, and computer inventory.
- Supervises Stock-taker duties.
- Coordinates the creation of adjustment vouchers to vendors for damages and meets with vendor representatives for approvals.
- Handles liquor and tobacco tax filings with the relevant government entities.
- Reports on shrinkage and investigates the underlying causes.
- Manages markdowns and voids by monitoring damages and overstock situations.
- Analyzes and identifies reasons for negative inventory and margins.
- Reviews store statistical reports for any anomalies or erroneous data.

Other Responsibilities:
- Assists other Departments when necessary, including the Front End.
- Completes various tasks and projects as assigned by the Branch Manager and Corporate Headquarters.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in retail or wholesale.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Background in Physical Inventory maintenance and control.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise and direct employees.
- Effective presentation skills and ability to respond to inquiries from multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, mass, and volume.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Commitment to company values and a strong customer-centric focus.
- Proficiency in PC operations with a good knowledge of MS Office; 10-key skills are advantageous.

- Lift: 50 lbs

- Frequently lift/carry (> 12x/hour): 50 lbs
- Constant lift/carry (> 30x/hr): 20 lbs
- Occasional Push/Pull (> 5x/hour): 450 lbs

- Posture Tolerance:
- Stand/walk: up to 4 hours at a time, during full inventory up to 6 hours standing.

- Climb steps/ladder: occasional
- Kneel/squat: occasional

Work Environment:
Mostly moderate ambient temperatures, though inventory tasks may require working in refrigerated and freezer areas. Presence of industrial vehicles such as forklifts and Hilo moving materials within the warehouse.

Salary Information:
