- Assessment and Evaluation:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify strengths, deficits, and behavioral needs of clients.
- Utilize standardized assessment tools and functional behavior assessments (FBA) to gather data and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to gather input and create holistic assessment reports.
- Treatment Planning and Implementation:
- Develop evidence-based behavior intervention plans (BIP) tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Implement behavior analytic strategies and interventions to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development.
- Provide ongoing training and support to caregivers, educators, and other stakeholders in implementing behavior plans effectively.
- Data Collection and Analysis:
- Design data collection systems to measure client progress and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior interventions.
- Analyze data regularly to make data-driven decisions and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and behavior outcomes.
- Training and Supervision:
- Provide supervision and guidance to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff members.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff, caregivers, and community members on behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators.
- Communicate regularly with clients' families to provide updates on progress, address concerns, and offer support and guidance.
- Coordinate with external service providers and agencies to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
Qualifications: - Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the field of behavior analysis, preferably with individuals with developmental disabilities or ASD.
- Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis software preferred.
- Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
