    Description

    Our client is a North American firm that developed virtual flow-sensing maintenance and monitoring tools for the water industry. Their technology utilizes water and wastewater treatment plants' data to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and maximize plant performance.

    Due to company growth, our client requires a Regional Sales Manager – SaaS. This is a remote work position based in the NE US. Responsibilities for this position include:

    • Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new partnerships with other businesses, new ways to reach existing markets or new product or service offerings.
    • Developing go-to-market plans for digital solutions with multiple distribution approaches; identifying market segments with high "close" potential, qualifying, advancing opportunities through milestone steps of the sales cycle, and forecasting time frames to close business.
    • Developing, managing, and establishing successful smart building channel and partner relationships.
    • Managing complex contract negotiations and business requirements.
    • Identifying and influencing key stakeholders at all levels within partner organizations to build relationships, generate and develop ideas, and pursue opportunities that will result in alternate routes to market and increased revenue.
    • Maintaining a thorough understanding of the smart building industry including trends, business processes, financial measures, performance indicators, and key competitors.
    • Complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; advising customers on product, service, or equipment adherence to requirements; and advising customers on needed actions.
    • Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
    • Approximately 30% travel.

    Qualifications and skills for this position include:

    • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, mathematics, business administration, or sales-related field.
    • 3-5 years experience in marketing or sales.
    • Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all sales aspects.
    • Experience in management is a plus.
    • Understanding and knowledge of B2B sales, marketing, and customer service.
    • Excellent communication and customer management skills.
    • Familiar with software-based customer service management (HubSpot experience preferred)
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
    • Working knowledge of data analysis and report writing.
    • Results-driven mentality, with a bias for speed and action.

    The salary for this position is $100K – 120K or commensurate with experience, plus a performance bonus, uncapped commissions, vehicle allowance, and full benefits.
