    Job Description:

    As the ServiceNow Business Analyst on our team, you will play a key role in solving complex business challenges by leading the solutioning of an enterprise ServiceNow implementation at a prominent Federal Agency. Acting as a bridge between our clients and technical teams, you will create documentation and conceptual designs to drive the development of ServiceNow solutions. This demands a profound knowledge of ServiceNow, the ability to think creatively on your feet, and a focus on fostering strong relationships with clients. Collaborating closely with our engineering teams, you will ensure the feasibility of solutions, identify areas for efficiency improvement, define detailed stories with acceptance criteria, and work within an agile development framework. Your recommendations will be innovative yet practical, drawing on a wealth of past successful experiences.



    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Collect, analyze, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual designs for ServiceNow solutions
    • Work on enterprise deployments with complex business processes and diverse application needs
    • Develop a deep understanding of requirements, applying industry best practices to design optimal solutions
    • Assist in translating application functionality into architecture and producing business functionality requirements
    • Write stories with acceptance criteria and conduct functional testing
    • Lead test plan development, execute testing, and ensure all requirements are met
    • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and subject-matter experts
    • Help define business processes, system usage, and information requirements
    • Quickly analyze and solve complex business problems

    Required Skills:

    • US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust
    • Bachelor's degree
    • At least five years of experience in systems requirements, design, testing, deployment, or production support
    • At least three years as a subject-matter expert in ServiceNow platform applications
    • Experience in drafting requirements and test plans for application modifications
    • Strong knowledge of process improvements, business analysis, and change management
    • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
    • Ability to address client needs and build solid relationships
    • Flexible approach to changing business needs
    • Must be able to work Eastern Standard Hours

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with ServiceNow HRSD and/or ITSM applications
    • Experience working with Federal Government clients
    • Strong domain expertise in ServiceNow platform applications
    • Experience with public sector clients
    • Experience with Agile methodology, ServiceNow Agile 2.0 module
    • ServiceNow certifications
