Our client is one of the largest players in the European eCommerce and classifieds market, currently operating specialized marketplaces in 11 countries.

This includes leading brands in the classifieds, real estate, job, and automotive sectors.


The position of Chief Sales Officer is your opportunity to take on a key role in the management of one of our client's largest enterprises and in the German automotive industry.


You will be responsible for a team of nearly 180 employees and will shape the go-to-market, sales, and customer service strategy for the entire business environment.

You will report to the CEO of the company.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop the sales strategy, endtoend experience, and positioning for all products, services, and features targeting different customer groups, such as automotive, financial services, and advertising.
  • Be responsible for revenue, developing customer relationships, and driving platform growth.
  • Take full responsibility for pricing strategy and gotomarket for all services targeting different customer groups.
  • Drive our expansion towards a broader customer base, with a focus on automotive OEMs and financial institutions.
  • Lead the professionalization of sales teams towards strong performance management and focus on expanding solution selling.
  • Develop and inspire product and business strategy through close contact with relevant contacts in the industry and global innovators in the automotive and online marketplace sectors.
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams, acting as a liaison and considering different interests, user needs, and functional requirements.
