- Assume ownership of inventory valuation and costing functions.
- Enhance costing methodology to provide optimal decision-making insights.
- Collaborate with management to refine reporting and presentation of costing and inventory valuation data.
- Monitor and analyze final pool adjustments related to spray operations, equipment, and general labor pools during crop and calendar year-end processes.
- Develop, review, and maintain cost accounting and inventory processes, including management inventories.
- Assist the accounting team in devising and implementing best practices for accounting processes and controls.
- Demonstrated experience in project leadership, multitasking, and meeting deadlines.
- Proactive self-starter with exceptional accounting project management capabilities.
- Ability to self-monitor progress and deliverables with a high level of accountability and urgency.
- Proficiency in PC skills, including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with integrated ERP systems and their implementation.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- 5+ years of public and/or agricultural accounting experience.
- 2+ years of costing experience.
