As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our daily administrative operations. Your responsibilities will include managing office tasks, assisting associates, and maintaining efficient processes.     Responsibilities

    • Organize Office: Maintain a well-organized office environment by handling tasks such as filing, sorting mail, and keeping supplies stocked.
    • Communication Management: Sort and distribute communications promptly, ensuring timely responses.
    • Record Keeping: Create and update records with accuracy and validity.
    • Meeting Coordination: Schedule and plan meetings and appointments.
    • Supply Monitoring: Monitor office supplies and handle shortages.
    • Problem Solving: Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues.
    • Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies.
    • Relationship Building: Maintain positive relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
    • Receptionist Duties: Take charge of all receptionist duties.
    • Assist our accounting, document delivery, and order processing departments
    • Assist with outgoing company USPS mail and UPS shipments
    • Take inventory of supplies and restock as needed
    • Assist the President of the company as needed for varied tasks
    • Assist company departments to support the team by performing tasks as needed

    Requirements

    • Experience: Proven experience in a back-office assistant, office assistant, virtual assistant, or a similar administrative role.
    • Computer Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with "back-office" computer systems (such as ERP software).
    • Office Equipment: Working knowledge of office equipment.
    • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Analytical Abilities: Aptitude in problem-solving.
    • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Software Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $ $21.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
