The Business Development Manager will serve as the primary sales andaccount management representative to the assigned Hydrocarbon Processing Industryaccounts, demonstrating leadership in communicating business goals, programs, andprocesses for the CMS business segment, focusing on commercial growth, gaining new and maintaining existing valued customer relationships, and achieving significant new business development.
This individual will utilize experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.

Analyze and expand new business development towards sustained growth in the Refining Industry Monitor revenue streams and identify opportunities to increase profitability Perform competitor analysis toward obtaining an increased market share Develop new clients and strengthen existing client partnerships Prepares, coordinates, and reviews designs, studies, reports, proposals, and presentations.
Negotiate new business closure that promotes sustained revenue Administers client contracts to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction and prompt identification and client notification of scope changes Performs all baseline Executive level client relations duties, including preparation and presentation of progress and special reports.
Participates in client meetings, special award programs and handles resolution of client service problems in a professional manner. Manage relationships between Veolia organizations and optimize Veolia opportunities.Learn and maintain awareness of all safety and environmental practices at assigned industry accounts Work with GM and other GEO Refining Industry leaders to set & progress Learning & Development plans for each MC GEO refining industry AM, AcM, FSR and Elevate resource, especially with relation to process side applications.
Use and maintain to company standards an assigned fleet vehicle to perform the duties and responsibilities of the job QualificationsCore Qualifications:Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical), Biology, or Chemistry, or in any related discipline from an accredited college or university.
At least ten years progressive experience within the refining industry including significant process side application expertise. Have excellent organization skills and are able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and under deadline pressure. Detail-oriented, able to follow instructions and to communicate with staff to understand assignments or seek clarification as necessary. Experience managing proposals through commercial closure. Abilities in multidisciplinary project teamwork and coordination. High level of self-motivation and ability to motivate others. Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.Eligibility Requirements:
Ability and willingness to travel within territory, as required Ability and willingness to reside in assigned region, or within customer proximity requirements, as required Work frequently in a heavy industrial environment requiring use of Personal Safety Equipment and exposure to noise, dust, chemicals and other similar irritants typical of those found in refinery, chemical plants, power plants, etc., as required Ability and willingness to comply with stringent drug testing and background check requirements set by customer safety requirements, as required Demonstrated Intermediate to Advanced Computer Skills including MS Office, and other software programs within a Windows environment To the extent that you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a company owned / leased or rented vehicle for company business, you must have a valid driver's license and be willing to submit to a check of your driving record.
