- Forecast, purchase, and maintain accurate inventory levels within different warehouse plants within the Brother supply chain to satisfy channel, eCommerce, subsidiary, dealer, and customer demand
- Collaborate with manufacturing plants and other functional stakeholders to match inventory with customer demand
- Problem solve, transfer, and reroute shipments within the distribution network to achieve inventory balance
- Identify possible future capacity constraints and bottlenecks in the supply chain
- Provide feedback & input into S&OP for forecasting, planning, order management, and manufacturing processes
- Test statistical models in SAP IBP to find the best fit forecast and assign to different segments of each division
- Create forecasts based on key criteria from Point of Sales (POS) data and customer in-stocks and on-hand inventory
- Review month-over-month forecast changes with key accounts and its impact on the financial budget
- Enhance supply chain efficiency by analyzing data, reporting, and managing KPI's
- Publish fill rate, forecast accuracy and bias, and inventory coverage reporting
- Pull monthly purchase order details to the factory to create a Cash Flow report for treasury and accounting
- Share a monthly pacing report that shows our open order progress against forecast
- APICS or ISM certification such as CSCP, CPIM, and or CPSM - Preferred
- Data Analysis and Forecasting tools (SAP, Tableau, etc.)
- Strong understanding of the supply and demand relationship
- Ability to develop actionable insights from data
- Strong understanding of S&OP processes and inventory management
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Interpersonal skills and ability to build and improve trusting relationships
- Strong attention to detail
- The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year
- Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data

The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for both Demand and Supply Planning duties. This role will focus on forecasting and analytics to create a demand plan to pass to Supply Planning, specifically by testing statistical models, running scenario planning, and building a forecast that accounts for POS trends, customer on-hand inventory, in-stocks, seasonality, and promotional activity.
This role will also be responsible for identifying the optimal inventory and safety stock levels for fulfillment of customer orders while also working within our inventory goals. The Supply Chain Planner will use their end-to-end supply and demand knowledge to create and pull reports for our team's key metrics and publish to our broader SCM team and cross-functional counterparts in Sales, Product Marketing, and Finance.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related field – Required
