Position:

Our client, an International Building & Engineering Contractor with multiple high-value projects throughout Europe, is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Lead to join their team in Frankfurt, Almond.

This individual will excel in a collaborative environment and be responsible for delivering fast-paced, cutting-edge projects in the Data Centre sector.

The Senior Mechanical Lead will oversee a team of Mechanical Supervisors and Sub Contractors, ensuring the timely and efficient installation of a large Mechanical system while adhering to project schedules.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage communication with clients
  • Prepare method statements and risk assessments for construction activities
  • Complete all HVAC deliverables within project and safety criteria
  • Coordinate with project team to schedule pipework installation
  • Oversee project commercial management, including validation, technical procurement, and cost documentation
  • Manage Project Schedule two weeks ahead in collaboration with the Project Team
  • Ensure labor requirements are met and maintained according to project program
  • Maintain high quality standards for work and manage Sub Contractors' activities
  • Notify Project Management of any variations or delays
  • Ensure all plant materials meet specifications and are stored safely
  • Identify and adhere to compliance and governance requirements, including Health & Safety regulations
  • Review and improve safety procedures
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and complete weekly "don't walk by" cards
  • Develop and implement company procedures with package managers
  • Properly manage change management (cost and schedule)
