    Description

    Project Duration: This is a 1-year contract opportunity.

    Summary: Proficiency and experience with developing, troubleshooting, debugging, evaluating, modifying, deploying, and documenting data components (data architecture, logical and physical data models, database objects, and data visualizations) that meet the needs of business applications, and/or internal end-user applications.

    Essential Skill Set:

    • Proven experience (3-5 years) in data management, data governance, or related roles
    • Strong understanding of data quality management, data governance principles, data privacy, and regulatory compliance
    • Expert knowledge of data modeling concepts, methodologies, and best practices
    • Proficiency in data modeling tools such as Erwin
    • Knowledge of relational databases and database design principles
    • Familiarity with dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts
    • Strong skills writing SQL queries in Microsoft SQL Server, or other industry-leading Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
    • Experience with data integration and ETL tools
    • Familiarity with data management tools (ex: Collibra), metadata repositories, and data modeling concepts
    • Knowledge of how data privacy regulations impact data governance practices
    • Hands-on relational, dimensional, and analytical project experience using RDBMS, NoSQL data platform technologies, and ETL
    • Experience in data cleansing techniques to identify and rectify errors, inconsistencies, and redundancies within datasets
    • Familiarity with data management tools (ex: Collibra), metadata repositories, and data modeling concepts
    • Expertise with visualization tools; Power BI preferred
    • Excellent visual skills, including demonstrable design knowledge, such as layout, typography, color, and interaction design
    • Knowledge of data visualization best practices to effectively communicate insight
