Description
Champaign Residential Services, Inc. (CRSI) is seeking a Training and Compliance Administrator to oversee all training programs and ensure employee compliance is met.
This individual will be responsible for ensuring all required training is in accordance to regulations in all environments, as well as agency policy and any other regulatory requirements.
We are looking for someone who will contribute to our company vision of creating communities where individuals with intellectual, physical and developmental disabilities experience equality.
Our mission is to empower and support individuals with intellectual, physical and developmental disabilities to live the life they choose – enhancing the health and quality of life for the individual, their family, their community, while creating a meaningful experience for our staff.
Having experience working in the field of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities would be very helpful in understanding the requirements and rules to develop appropriate training, conduct in home audits and oversee compliance standards.
Demonstrated experience in keeping up with ever changing federal, state and local laws to ensure company compliance and successfully update training needs is critical.
This person will also need to be technical as they will need to work with all Microsoft Office products as well as other technologies to create and hold trainings in person and virtually as well as manage the Learning Management System.
This role will need to be an instructor, train the trainers, purchase supplies for all regions, etc.
This person will need to be able to keep information confidential, be very detailed oriented, be flexible, not be afraid to ask tough questions and inquire but also be able to explain the why and be compassionate, and work individually and as a team.
Traveling to sites across the state will also be important as this role may need to travel to train or conduct audits regularly and unexpectedly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Related experience working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities is a plus.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary.
It is essential to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the organization and to ask questions or seek direction from when needed.
Must have the ability to teach various learning styles.
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills are necessary to produce and deliver quality training programs.
Ability to maintain confidential information is essential.

Effective interpersonal communication skills are essential.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Possess technical skillset to manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and work with other company software.
Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, as well as office equipment such as printers, fax machines and photocopiers.
Ability to travel throughout Ohio (can utilize company vehicle).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Continually assess, research and develop training curriculum to meet rules, regulations, policies and procedures that are implemented or adapted by CRSI.
Maintain copies of training records and completed trainings for each employee as well as auditing training compliance to ensure only eligible employees are working.
Manage the Learning Management System including ensuring users, learning content, policies and records are accurate and updated timely.
Work with all levels of the organization to create and implement professional development for Programming and Administration. Meet with staff and managers to ascertain training needs. Conduct surveys.
Coordinate trainers for specific training needs such as CPR/FA, Annual Training, Crisis/Do the Right Thing, Pre-Service Orientation, etc.
Maintain and update scheduling for trainings in all areas of the company. Included in this are rooms, times, and trainers.
Ensure that all trainers are up to date on all required certifications.
Establish and maintain compliance procedures as well as develop and implement organizational strategies to ensure the company complies with all company, state and federal regulations.
Minimizes risks by understanding current and proposed legislation, enforcing regulations, recommending new procedures, and complying with legal requirements.
Timely and routinely provide documents and reports to validate compliance.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with all levels of the organization.
Travel to various sites to provide training, attend meetings, and perform audits.
