The responsibilities of this position will include:

  • Research assistance in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of a qualitative study on spatial images and their influence on current spatial and planning policies
  • Identification and analysis of (cultural) patterns of perception and action of stakeholders
  • Interdisciplinary research, analysis, and evaluation of publications
  • Collaboration with cooperation partners and stakeholders
  • Participation in the organization of workshops and a final conference (transfer)
  • Publication activities

We look forward to receiving your application if you meet the following requirements:

  • Completed academic degree in geography, urban planning, landscape planning, cultural studies, or a related field
  • Expertise and ability to conduct independent research in the field of landscape and/or spatial planning and development
  • Knowledge in the area of social, societal, and cultural processes and their impact on spatial development and/or planning conflicts
  • Analytical and conceptual skills
  • Collaboration and communication skills, as well as good teamwork abilities
  • Structured and forwardthinking work approach
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
