- Supervise a team of 6-10 staff members, providing case coaching and ensuring goal achievement.
- Build rapport with participants, collect feedback, and advise on proper case handling.
- Work with the Program Manager to develop solutions for program growth.
- Motivate staff to ensure timely completion of work.
- Coordinate community presenters, workshops, and training.
- Ensure quality service delivery through supervision and coaching methods.
- Verify and report participant achievements and milestones.
- Represent the program to stakeholders and conduct staff evaluations.
- Abide by Fedcap policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties/projects as assigned.

Description
The Supervisor for DC Career MAP Workforce Development program oversees Navigators (case management staff) and support staff, ensuring adherence to policy and protocol, and acting as the main point of contact for assigned case load (Family Re-Housing Stabilization Program participants referred by the District of Columbia's Department of Human Services).
The Supervising Navigator coordinates services to ensure Navigators effectively support their assigned participants through a coaching model and achieve performance benchmarks, going beyond traditional case management.
Career MAP Program Overview:
The District of Columbia Career Mobility Action Plan (Career MAP) aims to eliminate barriers for families seeking sustainable employment. It provides resources to families who have experienced homelessness and are at risk of losing essential benefits due to income limitations, taking a holistic, two-generational approach to support families.
Career MAP focuses on family well-being components such as career pathways, child development, financial assets, health, and social capital, tailored to individual participants' needs.
Essential Functions:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, business administration, or related field.
Three years' supervisory experience in vocational rehabilitation or related field.
Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS:
An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics are representative of those encountered while performing the essential job functions.
