Adecco has partnered with a leading global manufacturer to recruit and hire a **Manufacturing Process Engineer** for their facility located about 35 minutes east of Lancaster, SC.
**Job Summary:**
+ Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure quality standards are met.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and resolve production issues.
+ Conduct analysis and provide recommendations for equipment upgrades, layout changes, and workflow enhancements.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes and systems.
+ Analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address inefficiencies.
+ Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure product specifications are met.
+ Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Evaluate new technologies and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
+ Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
+ Provide technical support and training to production staff on new processes and equipment.
+ Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for manufacturing deviations and non-conformances.
+ Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure process reliability and safety.
+ Participate in project teams for new product introductions and process validations.
**Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering
+ 3+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or process engineering. 5+ years preferred.
+ Project management experience and ability to manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Proficiency with engineering/manufacturing software and process simulation tools. (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Minitab, ERP/MRP, etc...)
+ Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies and tools for continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
+ Basic understanding of PLC systems, programming, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems (preferred).
**Benefits:**
+ Competitive base salary in the 90k-110k range + Bonus
