On the job trainingJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Processing Engineer to join our manufacturing team.The Processing Engineer will play a key role in optimizing and improving our production processes, ensuring quality standards are met, and driving efficiency across the manufacturing floor.
Responsibilities Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve product quality, reduce costs, and increase overall efficiency. Conduct process design, development, and validation activities for new and existing products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality Assurance, and Research & Development, to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions. Identify areas for process improvements and lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement. Analyze production data and implement statistical process control (SPC) methods to monitor and improve process capability. Create and maintain detailed documentation, including process flow diagrams, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Perform root cause analysis for process failures and implement corrective and preventive actions. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies. Provide training and guidance to production operators and technicians on new processes and equipment. Education and Certifications Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 5- years plus of experience in manufacturing engineering or process engineering roles within the industry facility. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials. Proficiency in process simulation, modeling, and statistical analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Minitab, etc.). Experience with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing operations.Qualification Walking and standing for extended periods. Frequent lifting of up to 65 pounds. Frequent bending, squatting, stooping, and reaching. Repetitive arm and upper body action and movement. Exposure to dust, frequent loud noise, varying temperatures in the plant. Occasionally climbing stairs.
