    2024 Summer School to Work-Global Customer Support

    Description

    Intern will work with Global Customer Support on projects that focus on communication strategy and diversity within recruiting for specific roles within the organization. Additionally, intern will be able to participate in coaching and development within the Global Customer Support organization and other departments as interested. There will be opportunities to meet with sponsors from other areas within the organization to learn what they do, and skills required to be successful. Position will include opportunities to attend professional mentorship meetings, which might include visits to the COB in Columbus, Indiana. Interns will participate in a full calendar of intern events including leadership speaker sessions, corporate responsibility activity, and training.

    Work with project manager and project teams to create inaugural quarterly newsletter for Global Customer Support.

    Participate in project meetings, when available, focused on a global communication strategy for Global Customer Support and diversity in recruitment for specific roles within the organization.

    Create documentation and flow charts for projects as needed.

    Create inaugural quarterly newsletter for Global Customer Support. This includes managing content submissions, working with stakeholders to assure information is accurate, working with editors for both content and grammar, and assisting with creation of a SharePoint site where global communications will be housed.

    Qualifications

    • Strong computer skills required, to include basic computer navigation, typing, data entry.
    • Prefer experience working with the following Microsoft Suite software applications: Word, Excel (basic), PowerPoint, Outlook.
    • Effective interpersonal skills, including verbal communications.
    • Effective writing skills.
    • Maximum hours per week of 19 hours.
    • Preference is given to candidates who can work the full 9 weeks of internship.

    Intern MUST be available to work at least 8 full weeks of internship - NO EXCEPTIONS

    (9 weeks of attendance is preferred, however 1 week off maximum will be considered).

    Pay rate $16.89
