What this Job Entails:


As a Material Handler in Griffin, GA, you will be responsible for receiving and inspecting shipments, verifying accurate deliveries against purchase orders, and performing various tasks related to inventory management.

This includes putaways, asset tagging, and documenting assets and accessories in the inventory management system.

You will also be responsible for picking items from shelves for shipment or delivery preparation, as well as performing order tracking, accessories management, and asset deployment.

This role supports approximately 250,000 staff members globally and serves as an introductory position in Astreya's warehousing services.


Scope:


  • Follow established procedures for routine work
  • Requires detailed instructions

Your Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Assist with inventory management, asset management, and erecycling
  • Use ticketing systems to report work accomplishments and track metrics
  • Utilize inventory data management software to maintain accuracy and workflow
  • Receive and inspect shipments, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and reporting any issues
  • Load and unload shipments and perform other duties as assigned
  • Maintain inventory and budget records and order supplies as needed
  • Stock inventory on shelves and assist with inventory procedures
  • Perform cleanup duties to maintain a safe and orderly warehouse
  • Contribute to global projects as needed
  • Other duties as required (this list is not comprehensive)

Required Qualifications/Skills:


  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of related experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow
