    Job Description:


    The Electric Reliability Analytics and Reporting Manager oversees a group of (outage quality specialists, business analysts, and engineering) experts on the electric outage quality reporting process, internal/external reliability reporting, and to analyze/make recommendations to senior leadership on electric reliability performance targets.

    Job Responsibilities:


    Recommend and support the implementation of initiatives needed to improve the outage reporting process and lead/manage teams to enhance software tools and improved work procedures/guidelines/standards.


    Meet internal and external metric (annual, monthly, weekly, and daily) reporting requirements for various reliability, wire down, and 911 Response metrics.

    Utilize/enhance a quality review process to ensure an accuracy and compliance with PG&E's outage reporting standards & work procedures.

    Ensure completion of various regulatory reporting requirements; the annual electric reliability report to the CPUC, external data requests, customer refunds associated with SafetyNet and QAS 7 service guarantees, and portions of various GRC, GO 166, Wildfire Mitigation Plan, Wildfire Safety


    Division, Safety Operational Metrics (SOMs), Safety Performance Metrics (SPMs), Public Safety Power Shut-Off (PSPS) performance reports, and Catastrophic Events Memorandum Account (CEMA) filings.


    In concert with stakeholders, develop/manage appropriate action plans that contain effective solutions that minimize error reoccurrence, with designated responsible parties and completion date commitments.

    Identify review findings, activities, interfaces, and common reporting errors.


    Analyze end-to-end complex business processes and provide direction/coordinate with IT to develop to make software enhancements needed to better leverage Smart meter data and to support/improve the accuracy of the ILIS and OQ ILIS applications.


    Job Requirements:
    PE-Professional Engineer license

    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent related experience.

    Bachelors Degree in Engineering-Electrical-Power Systems or job-related discipline or equivalent experience

    Eight (8) years electric distribution engineering experience with some experience in reliability planning.

    Leadership experience, 5 years

    Master's Degree in Engineering-Electrical or equivalent experience
