Job Summary:

Performs various patient care responsibilities as delegated and instructed by the Registered Physical Therapist.

Provide patient care, routine clerical, department maintenance, and other non-patient care duties under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapy manager.

Essential Responsibilities:

Grade 145

Basic Qualifications:

Experience

Minimum one year patient care experience, preferably in a Physical Therapy acute care setting and outpatient setting. Knowledge of basic medical terminology and basic anatomy. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other incumbents of the organization.

Must be willing to work in a Labor Management Partnership environment. Also refer to Position Specifications outlined in the appropriate collective bargaining agreement.

Education

High School Diploma/GED BLS

License, Certification, Registration

Basic Life Support
