- Regulatory and Standards Compliance: Maintain expert knowledge of relevant regulations and standards to ensure all products comply with local, national, and international requirements. Proactively adapt systems to meet changing legal frameworks and industry standards.
- Technology Leadership: Assess and integrate cutting-edge technologies to maintain and extend market leadership. Identify opportunities for innovation within the spectrum of residential air conditioning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and external partners to ensure that product development goals are met. Lead multidisciplinary project teams to achieve coherent and aligned outcomes.
- Quality Assurance and Prototyping: Oversee the development and testing of prototypes to validate concepts and refine system performance. Implement rigorous testing standards to ensure durability and reliability.
- Strategic Documentation: Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation regarding system designs, changes, compliance measures, and project outcomes. Develop reports for senior management that detail progress against strategic goals.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, with substantial experience specifically in residential HVAC systems.
- Profound technical expertise in HVAC design, functionality, and system integration.
- Proficient in CAD software and system simulation tools.
- In-depth understanding of industry regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and integrate complex systems within the residential HVAC market.
- Strong leadership skills in managing projects and interdisciplinary teams.
- Extensive regulatory knowledge, with the ability to anticipate changes and adapt strategies accordingly.
